Prof. Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University, held an extensive meeting with members of the university's Engineering Consulting Center at the Faculty of Engineering. The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdel Fattah Heliel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the faculty's vice deans, and members of the Engineering Consulting Center.
The meeting reflects Kafrelsheikh University's commitment to activating the role of specialized consulting centers, maximizing the utilization of the academic and scientific expertise of faculty members, and directly linking the university to community needs and sustainable development projects.
During the meeting, attendees reviewed mechanisms for improving the performance of the Engineering Consulting Center and expanding its provision of technical and consulting services to governmental and private entities. This aims to support the state's development plans and generate scientific and economic returns for the university.
Prof. Dr. Ismail, affirmed that the university possesses distinguished scientific personnel and engineering expertise capable of executing major national projects. He emphasized that the next phase requires maximizing the university's role as an active institution serving the community, not merely as an educational institution.
He also pointed out that the university strives to be a key partner in the development process, and that the Engineering Consulting Center represents an important scientific and executive arm for supporting state institutions. He added that they are working to remove any obstacles to developing its performance and providing all necessary support to maximize its benefits.
He further stated that the university places great importance on applying quality and governance standards in all its consulting work, ensuring the provision of accurate and reliable engineering services that reflect the academic standing of Kafrelsheikh University.
Dr. Abdel Fattah Heliel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, affirmed that the faculty boasts a distinguished group of professors and experts in various engineering disciplines. He noted that the faculty's Engineering Consulting Center seeks to expand its scope of work and actively participate in national and developmental projects.
The Dean explained that the next phase will witness the development of operational mechanisms within the center and increased cooperation with various entities, thereby achieving integration between the educational process and practical application, ultimately benefiting students and the community.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr President of the University directed that a clear and specific work plan be developed for the Engineering Consulting Center, including achievable time-bound objectives, and that partnerships be activated with various entities, stressing that the university will continue its full support for everything that contributes to enhancing its developmental role and serving the local and regional community.
