Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Heliel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, confirmed that the faculty continues its path towards achieving scientific achievements and raising its position in international rankings, announcing that Kafrelsheikh University has achieved second place among Egyptian universities in the field of engineering and ranked 501-600 globally according to the British Times classification for scientific disciplines (THE 2025 Subject Ranking).
Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Heliel praised the distinguished research efforts of the faculty’s scientists, which contributed to raising its position in global rankings and achieving this accomplishment that the faculty has achieved since its establishment nearly 20 years ago. This reflects the faculty’s distinctive research nature and its vision to become a center of excellence in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa by providing higher education and supporting various industries.
He added that the college pays attention to providing a supportive environment for researchers and making available all the capabilities in the research laboratories, which include the latest technological devices in the world, to achieve continuous achievements in scientific research and support the national industry. Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Heliel stressed that this success is the culmination of the support of the university administration under the auspices of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdel Razek Desouky, President of Kafrelsheikh University, and Professor Dr. Ismail El-Qan, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research.
