After Professor Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of Kafrelsheikh University, announced the organization of a competition for the best environmentally friendly college for the year 2024, in February 2024, which was prepared by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, headed by Ms. Prof. Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President of Kafrelsheikh University.
The college won as the best environmentally friendly and sustainable college, and it was attended by Mr. Doctor/President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Abdel-Al - Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ismail Al-Qan - Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Amani Shaker - Vice President of the University. The University President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs honored Mr. Professor Dr. Abdel Fattah Attia Heliel - Dean of the College and handed over the shield for winning the best environmentally friendly and sustainable college on Tuesday, 3/26/2024, in the University Council Hall.
The President of Kafrelsheikh University also honored Dr. Iman Saad, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for the Energy and Climate Change Standard, among the members of the committee entrusted with studying and evaluating the standards files submitted by the various colleges. He congratulated the work team in all sectors, faculty members, and university workers, extending his thanks and appreciation to all the colleges that applied for the competition, especially The holders of the top five places, for working hard in achieving environmental sustainability and working to achieve a green, environmentally friendly university
