The Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh holds a meeting to discuss a proposal to develop the visual identity of the governorate

On Tuesday, 3/26/2024, Major General Gamal Nour El-Din, Governor of Kafrelsheikh, and Dr. Amr El-Bashbishi, Deputy Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, held an expanded meeting to review the first draft of the visual identity guide for Kafrelsheikh Governorate, in the presence of Engineer Fatima El-Shawadfi, Director General of the General Administration of Urban Planning in Kafrelsheikh. Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President of Kafrelsheikh University, Dr. Abdel Fattah Heliel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Kafrelsheikh University, the engineers of cultural coordination in Kafrelsheikh, and a number of professors of the Faculty of Engineering and Specific Education. 

During the meeting, the Governor of Kafrelsheikh reviewed the axes and objectives of the visual identity, and the proposal to develop the visual identity of Kafrelsheikh Governorate to enhance national belonging and consolidate the concept of citizenship, within the framework of the directives of the political leadership and the decision of the Prime Minister, to form working groups to study the proposal to create a visual identity for each governorate of the Republic, with the aim of contributing In deepening the concept of national belonging, especially among youth and children.

As the visual identity includes public squares, residential building facades, sidewalks, electricity kiosks and schools, and the governorate is one of the ancient Egyptian governorates, and enjoys distinctive cultural, historical, environmental, tourism and economic components, therefore developing the visual identity is of great importance in enhancing national belonging and creating a feeling of pride and pride. Citizens have their heritage and culture, which enhances their sense of belonging to their governorate and their country as a whole, and contributes to spreading cultural awareness among citizens, by highlighting the tourist, historical and cultural attractions of the governorate, and helps attract tourism.

The Governor stressed the importance of cooperation between all concerned parties, and coordination with Kafrelsheikh University, represented by the College of Engineering, Department of Architecture, and College of Specific Education, to benefit from the expertise of the scientific and student cadres of regional universities, in implementing community activities, crystallizing the visual identity of the governorate, and developing the visual identity of Kafrelsheikh, in a way that contributes. In strengthening national belonging and consolidating the concept of citizenship
