A Medical Convoy to Nosra Village within the "Dignified Life" Initiative

Today, Thursday, 6/4/2023,  the university organizes an integrated medical convoy to the village of Nosra, affiliated to the Kafrelsheikh Center, and a number of neighboring villages, under the auspices of President Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the supervision of Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and students affairs, and Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, within the framework of the presidential initiative “A Dignified Life” for the development of the Egyptian countryside, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Dignified Life Foundation and Drug Control Fund in Kafrelsheikh, in continuation of the series of convoys that the university launches in the villages  at the level of the country.

A number of specialized professors from the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing participate in the convoy, as a large number of citizens are examined in various medical specialties, which include “Ophthalmology - Dermatology - Cardiovascular - Pediatric - Neuro Surgery - Urology - Cardio-thoracic Surgery - Orthopedic Surgery - Internal Medicine - Diabetes and Endocrinology - General Surgery - Oto-Rhino-Laryngology (ENT) - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Dentistry – Prosthetics”.

The President of Kafrelsheikh University, Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, says that the organization of medical and awareness convoys is within the framework of the presidential initiative “A Dignified Life”, to provide the best medical and treatment services to citizens, and as a continuation of the university’s efforts in community participation, and to provide more medical services to the people of the governorate, in coordination and cooperation with competent authorities.

 

The President mentions that the medical convoy conducts medical examinations on “840” cases from the village of Nosra, and a number of neighboring villages, by a group of specialized and distinguished doctors in various specialties, as part of the “Dignified Life” initiative and free drugs are given to all patients who visit the convoy.
