The President Heads the Monthly Meeting of Deans Council

Today Tuesday 8/12/2020, deans council, under the authority of the President Prof Dr Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky, holds its monthly meeting to discuss and review developments and monthly topics presented to the council in the presence of Prof Dr Hasan Youness, the vice president for post-graduation studies and research; Prof Dr Reda Salih, the vice president for community service and environment development affairs and the deans.

The president stresses the application of preventive precautionary measures by directing colleagues to apply precautionary measures, wear masks, disinfection and sterilization before and after the end of the lectures, while adhering to the application of the academic schedule.

As well, Dr Desouky confirms that the study continues by the hybrid education system in the faculties, stressing the follow-up of the implementation of precautionary measures in the university's faculties, units and hospitals, as well as the initiation of preparations for the first semester exams in accordance with the precautionary measures.

He also stresses the need to train staff members and students on electronic exams and adhere to international standards for preparing question banks to conduct electronic tests, within the framework of implementing the directives of the President Abed El-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to develop the education and testing system in Egypt and raise the level of Egyptian university graduates to keep pace with international university graduates.

 

Otherwise, the President Prof Dr Abdelrazek Youssef Desouky confirms the encouragement of scientific research, the follow-up of research projects to form research groups, obtaining local and foreign funding, encouraging international scientific publishing in periodicals with an international impact factor, paying attention to the development of postgraduate studies and the international publication of scientific research and motivating the university's staff members and urging them to do so to raise the university ranking, pointing out that international publishing is of great importance, as it has become a fundamental pillar to contribute to improving the universitys position in international ranking and is one of the most important foundations of world university rankings, which is what the university administration is keen on.
