The Visit of the Ministers of Higher Education and Health and Population to Kafrelsheikh University

The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary receives today Sunday 23/10/2016 Dr Ashraf el Shihi, the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Dr Ahmed Emad el Deen, the Minister of Health and Population in the presence of the Major General el Saied Nasr, Kafrelsheikh mayor, the members of the House of Representatives and Prof Dr Obaid Salih, the President of Damnhour University.

As well, the minister of Higher Education accompanied by the president and mayor does a survey for many buildings of new faculties such as the Faculties of Languages, Medicine, Denistry, Nursing and Fisheries as well as the new Kafrelsheikh University Hospital after the soft opening soon in the presence of the President of Arab Republic of Egypt as the delegation praises the enormous possibilities of the hospital that is a great medical edifice for the people of the province and neighboring provinces.

Otherwise, the president held an open student meeting among the students and the minister at the conferences hall at the Faculty of Medicine to illustrate some challenges that face the country asking students to stick to hope and to get away from the calls of despair and destruction.

El Kemary said that the university has made progress in Spanish classification “Webometrics”. It has jumped to No 5 at the level of Egyptian Universities and they are 63 governmental university and has ranked No 14 at the level of Arab countries among 971 Universities and the second place in scientific research thanking the minister of Higher Education for his financial support of Kafrelsheikh University.

Dr Ahmed Emad el Deen, the Minister of Health and Population, announces during his visit for the hospital about supplying the university hospital with two ambulances and 240 specialist nursing and has urged the president to establish school for nursing inside the university for the service of the university hospital stressing that it participate in health sector.
