The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Dentistry at Kafrelsheikh University held its regular meeting on Sunday, October 11, 2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Enas El-Gendy, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by members of the Faculty Council.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Gendy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Ali Shamaa, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Nourhan Ragheb, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hussein, Head of the Oral Surgery Department; Dr. Ahmed Ismail, Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics; Dr. Maha El-Shahawy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral Biology; Dr. Amira Abdelhafiz, Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Department; Dr. Ashraf Soliman, Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics; and Dr. Nour Shokry, Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology, Diagnosis, and Oral Radiology.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Enas El-Gendy welcomed the Council members, emphasizing the importance of continuing to work collaboratively and fostering a team spirit to support the development of the Faculty’s operational system.
The Council then proceeded to discuss the items on the meeting agenda, review the achievements accomplished during the previous period, and examine recent developments and upcoming work plans. The necessary decisions were taken accordingly, with the aim of supporting the educational, research, and administrative processes and enhancing the overall level of performance across the Faculty.
