Orientation Session for Dentistry Students – National University

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Acting President of Kafrelsheikh University; Professor Dr. Ali Abou Shousha, Vice President of the National University for Academic Affairs; Professor Dr. Enas El-Gendy, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; and Professor Dr. Ahmed Ismail, Academic Advisor of the Program:

The Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the National University welcomed its new students for the 2025/2026 academic year and held an orientation session on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the college seminar hall.

Professor Dr. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, the Acting University President, emphasized the great importance of the Faculty of Dentistry in serving human health and society. He encouraged students to make the most of their academic years to acquire both scientific knowledge and practical skills.

From his side, Professor Dr. Ali Abou Shousha, Vice President for Academic Affairs, affirmed the universitys commitment to providing a fully integrated educational and research environment.

Professor Dr. Enas El-Gendy, Dean of the Faculty, delivered a presentation outlining the key elements of the academic regulations. She elaborated on various topics including teaching methods, the examination and assessment system, course registration procedures, and addressed all student inquiries.

She also highlighted the importance of aligning academic curricula with the labor market, as well as the role of artificial intelligence and digitalization in the field of dentistry, stressing the need to integrate AI into modern dental education and practice.

Dr. Ahmed Ismail, Assistant Professor in the Prosthodontics Department and Academic Advisor of the program, welcomed the new students and stressed the importance of their active participation in the educational process. He encouraged a balance between rights and responsibilities and engagement in various activities and events. He also addressed numerous student questions.
