The University Council for May 2025

 The University Council, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, holds its regular session today, Monday, May 26, 2025, in the Council Hall to discuss a number of topics related to the educational and research process, and to review the latest developments and topics presented to the Council.

The president confirms the need to follow up the second semester exams at the university's faculties and institutes, and to emphasize the formation of examination and correction committees and monitoring committees in accordance with the applicable law and regulations, and to take all necessary measures to ensure the good conduct and regularity of the examination process, and the need to adhere to the reference standards and specifications of the examination paper, and the commitment of all staff members, assistant staff and the administrative apparatus to be present at all times and participate effectively in the examination and control work.

During the meeting, the president also confirms that the university's faculties and institutes would complete the annual report for the academic year 2024/2025 and send it to the president's office.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky also reviews the most important topics for the university's sectors, starting with the Education and Students’ Affairs Sector, the Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector, and the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, for the month of May 2025, and the numerous events, seminars, and meetings held during that period.

The Council also approves:

- Granting academic titles and appointments: (4 professors, 1 assistant professor, 6 lecturers).

- Granting Master's Degree to 17 researchers and Doctorate Degree for 11 researchers.

- Granting Professional Master's Degree to 11 researchers and Doctorate Degree for 5 researchers.

 

- Granting engineering diplomas in: Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical Specializations for 4 researchers.
