The Activities of the First Recreational Scouting Festival for Scouts of Kafrelsheikh University with the slogan “You are stronger than drugs”

The General Administration of Student Welfare - the Department of Scouting, Public Service and Camps, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Drugs Control Fund, organizes the first recreational scouting festival for the scouts of Kafrelsheikh University with the slogan “You are stronger than drugs.”, during the period from 10/31/2023 until 11/1/2023, under the patronage of Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University; Dr. Mohammed Abd El Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University; Dr. Rushdy Al-Adawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and Dr. Sobhy Siraj El-Din, Advisor of the Scouting Committee, and the implementation and follow-up of Dr. Safwa Shalabi, Director of the Scouting and Public Service Department, and Hazem Ayyad and Ahmed Abd Allah in the Scouting and Public Service Department in the General Administration for Student Welfare at the university.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, the President, confirms that the University is keen to implement such festivals and various student activities that contribute to the qualification of youth cadres and their participation in community building and sustainable community development, by acquiring a diverse cognitive and educational structure to create a generation capable of integrating with others, and a conscious generation that has a sense of belonging to its homeland.

The president points out that students’ participation in scouting activities contributes positively to upholding the values of volunteerism and public service, raising student morale, exchanging experiences, and developing the spirit of cooperation among them, in addition to refining the skills of self-reliance, leadership, and teamwork, calling on the students to cooperate, consolidate the bonds of brotherhood and friendship among them, and create harmony and love among Scout members.

Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs, stresses that the scouting activity is one of the most important student activities that helps students how to coexist in any place and make sound decisions, serve others, dedication, build national awareness and community service, work in a team, take care of the environment, face crises and adapt to reality, wishing the students success in the festival.
