Today, Tuesday, the Council of Deans holds its monthly meeting, headed by Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, to discuss and review the monthly developments and topics presented to the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Al, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Ali Sabry, Secretary General of the University, and the deans of the faculties.

The Council of Deans discusses following up the conduct of exams for the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023, and ensuring adherence to the exam performance controls and taking all measures to ensure the creation of an appropriate climate for students within the committees, providing all means of comfort, safety and support for them, maintaining the calm and discipline of the committees, and providing all services and all facilities for students to help them perform exams easily.

The President directs the deans of the faculties to continue implementing and following up activities, workshops and awareness seminars, and the participation of the Student Union in promoting these activities, and confirming the continuity of student activities in their various fields, which helps to integrate positive energies and develop creative skills in a practical, non-academic way, and invest them in developing personal characteristics and enhancing belonging and identity.

The Council of Deans also confirms the continued follow-up of the activity of the community service and environmental development sector, and its role in the field of literacy and adult education, as well as the organization and launch of comprehensive development convoys for the neediest villages within the presidential initiative, a dignified life.

 

In conclusion, the Council of Deans discusses the memorandum submitted by Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, regarding the possibility of using the computer labs in the faculties in exams for the Fundamentals of Digital Transformation certificate to maximize the benefit from the computer labs in the various faculties of the university.
