Vision
It is a clinical department that extends to the facial, jaw and skull area, in addition to precision surgeries in the mouth and teeth. Treatment services provided by the department:

1 - Dental extraction and minor oral surgeries, such as implanted wisdom tooth extraction, under the bone

2 - Specialized surgeries to prepare jaws to receive fixtures and industrial replacements.

3- Plastic surgery and orthodontic surgery

4 - Treating infections caused by dental problems such as facial swelling as a result of abscess formation

5- Bone and dental implants and treatment of facial structure fractures due to accidents and other injuries

6- Treating congenital anomalies in the maxillofacial region, such as the rabbit's lip and the deformation of the roof of the throat

7 - Treatment of acute and chronic jaw joint diseases and specialized jaw joint surgery

Mission

The department's mission is to graduate a dentist with an outstanding scientific level who is able to learn the arts of medicine and oral and dental surgery with the latest scientific techniques and international quality standards.

Objectives

1) Training and qualifying professional cadres in the fields of oral surgery as well as providing them with multiple knowledge, science and skills.

2) Applying the values, traditions and ethics in practicing the profession of surgery and acquiring self-education skills.

3) Maintaining high performance levels in dentistry education through the continuous development and updating of the dentistry education curriculum in order to keep pace with the communitys need.

4) Directing the educational program and courses capable of teaching and training students to become competent and responsible doctors.
