Obtaining a doctoral degree in one of the branches of dentistry requires the following:
1- To devote himself to studying the courses stipulated in these regulations
2- To pass all the academic courses stipulated in these regulations according to the different disciplines
3- To achieve a full attendance rate and allow, in special circumstances, to accept excuses within the limits of 25% after the approval of the College Council
4- To pass successfully all the courses included in the system of credit hours separately, which are determined by the department council, and to perform all the practical requirements (requirement) and record them in his (Log Book) with the signature of the department’s supervising professors, and the booklet is subject to evaluation by a committee composed of Postgraduate studies, which submit a report to the Postgraduate Studies Council.
5- Preparing a scientific thesis from the college’s research plan on an early topic determined by the department council. The student is allowed to register the subject of the thesis from the date of the college council’s approval of the enrollment.
6- The research project is presented to 3 arbitrators who are selected by the Graduate Studies Committee from specialized professors from the faculties of dentistry in the Arab Republic of Egypt to evaluate the research point. It is approved by the College Council and then by the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
7- Publishing a research extract from the thesis in an international scientific journal with impact factors.
8- The student is allowed to discuss the thesis after two full years have passed, starting from the date of approval of the College Council for registration
9- The thesis is discussed publicly, and then the decision of the judging committee is approved by the College and University Councils. 50 credit points are allocated for the doctoral dissertation.
10- To successfully pass the integrated final exam
