The British Times for Higher Education announces about the rank of world’s top universities in 2019 as the rank has 1250 global universities based on overall ranking. This classification provides 13 performance indicators to provide more comprehensive and balanced among universities in five fields: teaching “learning environment”, scientific research “size, income and reputation”, citations “research impact”, international outlook “employees, students and researches” and knowledge transfer. Times Rank is the second top world rank after Chinese Shanghai rank.
As well, Egyptian Universities Rank includes 19 universities instead of nine universities in the last year out of 1250 global universities. There are not any private Egyptian Universities or universities of special nature that appear in rank schedule except American University in Cairo.
Five Egyptian universities, in addition to American University, have ranked the first place in Egyptian Universities Rank and Place No 601-800 in the world and they are: Benha, Beni Suef Kafrelsheikh, Mansoura and Suez Canal Universities. For the first time, Kafrelsheikh and Benha Universities have appeared in British Times for global universities.
