Alkemary received Mr. William Lishan, member of the faculty of the Institute of Aquaculture at the University of Sterling, Scotland. This is to follow up the outputs of the joint scientific project between the two universities and to maximize their utilization in the diagnosis and control of tilapia diseases. Based on a joint scientific cooperation agreement with British University of Sterling project of behavioral prevention to promote fish health and the sustainable intensification of Egyptian tilapia, which is about to finish . They also discussed preparation for a new joint project . .
Alkemary also met with Dr. Khalid Naji, Head of Research of Engineering , Processing and Packaging of Food at the Agricultural Research Center in Cairo, to discuss ways of cooperation in the field of, packaging and food processing, besides feasibility studies in the field for the university graduates.
