  In recent years, Kafrelsheikh University has witnessed unprecedented development in educational and health facilities and supporting facilities such as student hostels and guest house, making it one of the landmarks of civilization and knowledge in the region. These construction projects aim to strengthen the infrastructure and develop vital facilities to provide an ideal environment for students to learn and pave the way to quality education to provide distinctive educational and research services in line with the vision of Egypt 2030.

    During the last six years, a lot of effort has gone into making the university a great success. A number of projects are currently under construction to help improve the university performance and keep pace with the quantitative and qualitative development so as to establish a scientific and technological renaissance that will benefit the citizens and future generations through bringing up good citizens who are well qualified to suit the requirements of the labor market and the knowledge economy.

   The university has 20 faculties and institutes, 7 health facilities and nursing schools, 4 humanitarian faculties and 8 scientific faculties, as well as administrative buildings, faculties buildings, recreational facilities and residential buildings. The Faculty of Computing and Information and the second phase of the Faculty of Engineering consists of three buildings for workshops, laboratories and some stands. The student facilities  building includes a number of cafeterias, bookstores, medical and scientific supplies, the Institute of Nanotechnology and Science, the 400-bed emergency hospital building, The central terraces boasts eight  new stands, the university administration building, the university girls' dormitory building, the guest house building, the agricultural engineering building at the Faculty of Agriculture and the campus mosque..

     As for the building of the conference center, we hope the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Contractors Company urge those involved in the establishment of the project to expedite the completion of the finishing of the conference center and to overcome all obstacles..
