The team of the University of Kafrelsheikh, as representative of Egypt, ranked first in the free robot competition and the best extinguished project in the 11th Arab Robotics Championship hosted by the Peace City, Sharm El-Sheikh from 23 to 26 March under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Technology, The Bibliotheca Alexandrine, and the Arab Association “Robot and Computer “. Eleven Arab states participated: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, The United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Algeria and Oman.
Yasser Al-Kady, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, praised the idea of ??the University of Kafr El-Sheikh's project, a robot detector and mine surveyor, and works by air pressure.
The winners of the robot competition are Mahmoud Baklol, Abdullah Rahmi and Gamal Tamman. The participants in the Sumo competition included Mohammed Algamal and Ahmed Al Mughni.
The team praised the university's permanent sponsorship in the field of training and scientific support for research projects and the available scientific and research facilities to serve students.
