On his side, Prof. Dr. Maged ElKemary Kafrelsheikh University President announced on the establishment of Arabic Language Center for non-native speakers at the Faculty of Arts , where four patches of Chinees students are graduated from this center , in addition H.E. pointed out that this center has a crucial and important role in activation the scientific mission of the university ; at the same time matching its opening as one of the universities which subscribed to the code of practice on the Arabic as well as the international level.
Prof. ElKemary, also clarified that the university ‘mission based on serving the Arabic Language and its protection, in addition disseminating the true message of Islam. Accordingly, the interest of Kafrelsheikh University came by establishment of this center for achievement of graduating patches of students on the internal level , and have the ability of using and utilizing this civilized language and transferring it in their countries and their citizens proving that this language has a unique characteristics not found in other languages.
In his speech, ElKemary emphasized teaching the Arabic Language to their native -speakers different than its teaching for non-native and for those speaking /utilizing different languages, therefore the Arabic Language Center at Kafrelsheikh university select those instructors who have the competencies and scientific background of all stages which the candidates go through from beginning to reach to best and possible level. He continues his words explaining that the efficiency indicators which settled by the center are dividing the candidates into levels; i.e. 1st level beginner “ low, medium & high); 2nd level medium level “low, medium & high ); the 3rd level which the advanced one “ the higher & superior level ". These efficiency indicators also are based on distribution of the four skills i.e. (writing, reading, listening & conversation (, these levels also are related to candidate’ acquisition; understanding and abilities. El Kemary; also clarified that the number of study subjects /courses as well as its selection are among the difficult decisions which facing the center, in this regards the university overcome , in addition to the help of academic staff capabilities and their experts who are working in the center , where teaching Arabic Language for non-native speakers are done through two different methods which 1.
