Today Tuesday 17/10/2017, Kafrelsheikh University President Prof Dr Maged el Kemary opens the 11^th International conference for plant breeding at the Faculty of Agriculture entitled “the role of plant breeding in increasing the production of crops within the limitation of rest”.  At the beginning of his speech, H.E. welcomes<    all attendees and extends his thanks & gratitude for their participation in this conference which reflects the interest of the university regarding importance of scientific research in various specialties which give the benefit the homeland and reflected on their citizens.   

The president also pointed out that such conferences give an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences and keep updated with all modern techniques as well as learn about successful experiments; and search the ways of benefiting from them in order to reflect positively on community development and environment sustainability. El Kemary adds that the scientists’ efforts in genetic map of some plants will help farmers around the world to produce abundant drawing crops more resistant to diseases and more bearing of soil salinity, water, drought and conditions non-suitable for its growth ; as well as its resistance to pests and diseases. In the end of his speech, his Excellency thanks all those who participate in this conference, who prepare and organize, speakers, participants, sponsors and guests, wishing for everyone the best benefit from scientific researches and activate the conference recommendations. On the sidelines of the conference, his Excellency opens plan fair held at the faculty.
