Under the patronage of President Prof Dr
Maged el Kemary, Kafrelsheikh University
a scientific symposium has been conducted today Wednesday 10/5/2017 by
his Excellency Prof Dr. Mahmoud Abed el Kader Hashim & entitled “The use of light for the
diagnosis of malignant tumors and control of harmful insects”.
The symposium begins with the a welcome speech of the president Prof Dr
Maged El Kemary for the audiences and the
president of German University ; and introducing Prof Dr. Hashim
who has been the president of German University since 2002 ; and who got his
Doctorate degree in Spectroscopy and Photochemistry from the University of
Stuttgart in Germany ; as well he got
post-doctorate fellowship from Karlsruhe University from 1982 to 1983;
in addition he was hired as Director of National Institute for Advanced Laser
Sciences at Cairo University along with different additional positions.
On his side, Prof Dr. Hashim expresses his happiness for being
visiting Kafrelsheikh
University further pointing out that Kafrelsheikh University going on the
road of progress among global universities commented that what he has seen in
the university is more than outstanding creativity; in addition to the presence
of the university facilities that
supporting the scientific research as well making this university an excellent
model for the rest of Egyptian Universities.
As well, Dr. Hashim give an elaboration about how to use the light
in diagnosis and treatment of malignant
tumors for human being ; and how to
control harmful insects “
The president Prof Dr .Maged el Kemary thanks Prof. Dr. Hashim for appreciation and his
kind view about Kafrelsheikh University greatest achievements within its short period of its
establishment, then president Prof Dr
.El Kemary presents the university’ held
for Prof Dr. Hashim with honor and appreciation of his sovereignty and thanks
him for his visit to Kafrelsheikh University.
The seminar ended with having collaborative agreement between German
University in Cairo& Kafrelsheikh University to establish the first
phototherapy center for treatment of tumors in cooperation with specialized
professors in this field.
