The monthly meeting of the pharmacy sector committee in the supreme council of universities is held today on Wednesday 15/2/2017 at the Faculty of Pharmacy and it is the first time to be held outside the supreme council of universities and it is a pride for Kafrelsheikh University to be the host of this meeting.

The meeting searches many important topics such as the establishment of Drug discovery and development institute at Kafrelsheikh University.

The meeting begins with the speech of Prof Dr Maged el Kemary who welcomes the deans of the Faculties of Pharmacy in the Egyptian Universities and their visit is a pride for Kafrelsheikh University thanking their efforts to develop the sector of pharmacy in the Egyptian Universities wishing that they will not donate to our university with advice and guidance.

As well, he adds that the university hopes the approval of the committee to establish Drug discovery and development institute because of the importance of this field in the human life and the support of the pharmaceutical industry for the development of Egyptian economy explaining that the main goal of establishing this institute is to develop the industry and develop the drug in Egypt.

In a related context, the sector head praises in his speech the research possibilities of Kafrelsheikh University and the possibilities in terms of equipment praising the efforts of the president for raising the university to this advanced scientific level. He submits a proposal for the establishment of Drug discovery and development institute not a center to help significantly for the development of Egyptian economy.
