Kafrelsheikh University announces about choosing Prof Dr Maged el Kemary a member in presidential coordination committee of the project “Alliance of Agricultural - Food Industries” funded from the Academy of Scientific Research which represents the university for two years.

As well, the president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary agrees to nominate Dr Amin Ammar, representative of the university, as a member in technical committee for the implementation of activities of the project “Alliance of Agricultural - Food Industries” which consists of 16 partners including Universities of Alexandria, Damanhour, Ain Shams and Suez Canal.

From his side, the president said “the aim of the “Alliance of Agricultural - Food Industries” is to enhance the local manufacturing in food industries, increase the competitiveness, transfer laboratories to this industry and increase the number of small and medium companies in Agro Industries sector.

He adds that this project aims to develop and commercialize the new technology related to the agro-food industries food and increase the export of Egyptian products through gathering national competencies in universities, research institutions, non-governmental organizations and private sector to stimulate innovation and the use of technology to solve the pressing problems in the agro-food sector.
