Kafrelsheikh University organizes today Thursday the opening ceremony of the fourth student housing youth week in indoor hall at Kafrelsheikh Stadium.

The ceremony was attended by Dr./ Ashraf el Shehhi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Major General el Saied Nasr, Kafrelsheikh Mayor and Dr./ Ashraf Hatim, the head of the supreme council of education and students’ affairs.

The ceremony began with the entry of the delegations of the representatives of participating Egyptian Universities to the indoor hall and the recitation of Holy Quran then playing republican anthem.

As well, Prof. Dr./ el Kemary assures during his speech at the opening ceremony the importance of the events of student housing youth week as a cultural, sportive and art forum that achieve communication among universities youth in an era full of events that have created a conflict of identity among some young people; this is why the university hosts the events of the week under the slogan “Egypt is the country of security and safety” to correct misconceptions among some students to contribute to strengthen the conception of nationalism and strength of belonging for the youth of universities, the development of skills of teamwork, raising the efficiency of youth, the development of their abilities, enhancing the noble values and beautiful meanings, fueling the spirit of competition among youth and building self-confidence for them.

As well, Prof Dr el Kemary thanks the attendances hoping that this forum will achieve its goals and wishing good accommodation for delegations and peace for home.

From his side, Dr Ashraf el Shihhi, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, assures the role of universities in building the integrated personality and the role of this forum in supporting communication and cultural exchange among young people.

He also stated that the ministry seeks in the coming period to increase the expansion in building more universities in Egypt and increase the number of students enrolled in new universities for the service of different provinces and job market with best graduates capable of competition in job market.
