 The Faculty of Computers and Information at Kafrelsheikh University wins first place among Egyptian universities in the Sixth Olympiad for Computer Science and Informatics “Made in Egypt: Innovative technology to achieve sustainable development goals.”

 
 
 
Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of Kafrelsheikh University, announced that the team of the University’s Faculty of Computers and Information won first place among Egyptian universities in the Sixth Olympiad in the project “The Smart Model for Using Environmental Phenomena and Renewable Energy to Create Sustainable Development and Peaceful Power,” which was organized by the Faculties of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Damietta. , and Delta for Science and Technology at the headquarters of Damietta University, entitled “Made in Egypt: Innovative Technology to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals,” with the participation of 36 public and private universities, sponsored by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Abdel Razek El-Desouki, President of Kafrelsheikh University, and supervised by Dr. Osama Abu Saada, Dean. Faculty of Computing and Information.
 
 
Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of Kafrelsheikh University, stated that the project aims to use natural phenomena such as solar energy, wind, sea water, and other phenomena to provide different types of renewable energy by innovating and modifying more than one smart model to use different phenomena to determine the type of renewable energy that can be relied upon.
 
 
The President of Kafrelsheikh University also stressed the university’s keenness to participate in these competitions within the framework of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to achieve the sustainable development goals of the new republic, by providing innovative technological solutions that are applicable and have the ability to confront challenges. Highlighting the role of universities in participating in the engine of progress in building the new republic.
 
 
Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of Kafrelsheikh University, congratulated the team of the University’s Faculty of Computing and Information, thanking them and appreciating them for their achievement in this competition, praising their honorable representation of their university, stressing the university’s continued full support for its students to continue their scientific excellence through their innovative pioneering ideas. And their participation in achieving sustainable development, which our country’s leadership seeks to achieve at all levels.
