Shanghai Chinese classification of majors:

 

The university achieved advanced positions over previous years, and the university was able to come among the top 500 global universities in 7 specializations. In the biological sciences specialty, the university achieved rank (201-300) globally and first place locally, and in the human biological sciences specialty it achieved rank (401-500). Globally and first place locally. In the field of agricultural sciences, the university achieved rank (39) globally and second place locally. In the specialty of veterinary sciences, it ranked (76-100) globally and second place locally. In the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, it ranked (101-150) globally. It ranked second locally, and in the specialty of electrical and electronic engineering, it achieved rank (401-500) globally and second place locally. It also achieved rank (201-300) globally in the specialty of engineering and energy sciences and ranked second locally.

 

US News classification:

 

The university advanced in the US News classification for the year (2022-23), where it ranked (639) globally - (17) in Africa and (5) locally in the classification among (2165) international universities included in the classification this year, compared to the rank (914) globally - ( 27) in Africa and (8) locally for the year (2021-2022). Thus, the university advanced 275 global positions.

 

 

 

US News classification of specialties:

 

  The university appeared in the subject area in the US News classification for the year (2022-2023) in the field of plant and animal sciences, where it was ranked (137) internationally, (2) in Africa, and first locally. Specializing in engineering sciences, it was ranked (302) internationally, (4) in Africa, and (3) locally.

 

QS English classification for the Arab region:

 

The university was included in the English QS classification for the Arab region and ranked (101-110) in the Arab region. The university was also included in the QS English classification for sustainability for the first time and ranked (1201+) globally.

 

Indonesian UI Green Metric Ranking:

 

The university was ranked among the green and environmentally friendly universities, ranking 7th locally, and was ranked among the top 500 universities globally, ranking 306th for the year 2023. The ranking included 1,183 universities this year compared to last year, in which 1,080 universities from various countries of the world participated.

 

Arab classification of Arab universities:

 

Kafrelsheikh University was included in the list of the Arab classification of Arab universities, and the university ranked 18th in the Arab world out of a total of 115 Arab universities and seventh locally out of a total of 28 Egyptian government universities that applied for this classification, in the first edition of the Arab classification of Arab universities for the year 2023 issued by the Association of Arab Universities.

 

The British Times World University Rankings 2024::

 

The university was ranked 800-1000 in the British Times Ranking, which includes (2673) international universities. Thus, Kafrelsheikh University maintained the second level among the 29 Egyptian universities included in this classification. The university also ranked 410th in the global scientific research standard, Research Quality (Ranked 410).

The university achieved advanced positions in the Times Specializations Ranking, as the university appeared among the top 500 universities in the field of life sciences and ranked 401-500 globally and second locally. In the field of physics, it ranked 501-600 globally and second locally, and in the field of clinical medical sciences it ranked 501-600 globally. And third locally, and in the field of engineering it ranked 601-800 globally and third place locally.

The university was ranked in the British Times classification of higher education institutions for the Arab region in its third edition, document 2023. The university ranked 49th among Arab universities among (313) universities and educational institutions that appeared in the classification, where universities from (18) different Arab countries participated, and the university ranked Locally, it is ranked (8) among (37) Egyptian universities.

 

The British Times Sustainable Development Rating:

 

The university is ranked (601-800) internationally in the Times Sustainable Development (Impact) classification, according to the British Times Classification 2023.
