The Information Technology Department seeks to provide the continuous development of education in the field of information technology to keep abreast of the rapid scientific and technological developments, improve the university performance, and improve the graduates of the department to the level of excellence and high competitiveness.

The preparation of graduates with specialized scientific knowledge in the field of information technology, while keeping up with the department's modern change programs, also uses available resources to solve society's problems. This is done through theprovision of different study plans in different branches of information technology, scientific and applied research, subject to international standards, the quality and the positive interaction of the department's role in the service of the environment and community development.
