The University Holds Graduation Celebration for the First and Second Classes of Faculty of Nursing


 

 Today Monday 28/10/2019, the President Prof Dr Abed el Raziq Dousoki witnesses the graduation celebration of Faculty of Nursing for the first and second classes after the end of their theoretical and scientific study with the latest techniques and educational means in the presence of the vice president for post-graduation studies Prof Dr Reda Salih, the dean of Faculty of Nursing Prof Dr Maha Abu Ghazia, the deans, staff members and Nursing union member Dr Kwathar Mahmoud and parents of graduates.

In the deans speech, she thanks the President for his attending among his students and congratulates the graduates and their parents for their efforts to reach this moment.

As well, nursing union member Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud stressed the importance of nursing care via providing distinguished health care to patients, pointing out to the importance of the nursing profession in Egypt and the world in conjunction with the interest of the World Health Organization in nursing and the allocation of 2020 year for nursing in addition to the support and interest of the state in the profession.

In Dr Dousokis speech, he congratulates the graduates thanking all those who contributed to their qualification to the field work and he is proud to graduate the two classes that reflect the success of the university in the medical colleges system and that this celebration is a pride for the university, students and graduates, stressing that nursing is a profession that is of great importance in the world. He also advises graduates to acquire skills and represent the university in all hospitals where they will work well and they are ambassadors to the university everywhere.

On the other hand, he mentions that Faculty of Nursing is committed to preparing qualified professionals to provide nursing care that meets the needs of all levels of local and regional health institutions with distinctive competitive efficiency to keep pace with global developments and to prepare researchers capable of producing competitive scientific research globally to develop the profession through advanced educational programs that support scientific research mechanisms, self-learning skills and community service.

In the same context, the graduates expressed their happiness for this honor and the interest of the President.

As well, the students parents thank the President and staff members of the faculty.

At the end of the celebration, the President honors the graduates and urges them to exert more work and dedication in serving the country.
