Today Thursday, the President Prof Dr Maged el Kemary inaugurates the annual conference of Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Infectious Diseases Department organized by Faculty of Medicine in the presence of many professors of Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Infectious Diseases Department in the faculties of Medicine of Kasr el Aini, Alexandria, Tanta, Zagazig, Mansoura, Helwan, the National Liver Institute of Menoufia, Ministry Kobry el Kobba Hospital, the Theodor Balhars Institute and the Institute of Medicine of warm countries in Cairo, and the Liver Research Institute in Kafrelsheikh.

Prof Dr Maged el Kemary welcomes all attendants for their participation in the events of this conference that includes distinguished elite of professors, doctors and lecturers specialized in various universities and hospitals of the Ministry of Health to improve the level of health services for the community in the field of Hepatology, Gastroenterology and Infectious Diseases via the presentation and review of all important medical and scientific developments in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

As well, el Kemary mentions that Faculty of Medicine has held this conference to improve and develop the level of health and medical services as well as the level of efficiency for the providers of these services of doctors, practitioners and staff members via communication, exchange of experiences, keeping abreast of the latest developments and modern therapeutic techniques that will help them to develop the field of their jobs academically and clinically and to discuss challenges and difficulties facing patients and professionals in the field of Medicine.

On the other hand, the President explains that tools and technologies of the medical profession is developing according to this development currently, so it is necessary for preparation to benefit from the applications of the Fourth Industrial Revolution whose features are emerging in the horizons of diagnosis and treatment in the field of medical application of artificial intelligence and Nanotechnology by using equipment, materials and smart programs to develop this service as it is not impossible for the doctor to be an information program in the future and the use of artificial intelligence frequently to overcome some chronic diseases has become only a matter of time.
