The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary has done a visit to Singapore for three days during which he has visited the National University of Singapore, ranked as the best university in Asia, to discuss the ways of academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities in the fields of education, scientific research, training, scientific meetings, information, experts and researchers exchange in different fields of mutual interest, student exchange and hosting visiting professors.
The two sides agreed to train doctors from Kafrelsheikh University specialized in the field of organ transplantation for children in the hospitals of National University of Singapore and invite doctors from national university hospital to conduct operations in Kafrelsheikh University Hospital, as well as to activate mutual cooperation via agreement signed later.
During the visit, Prof Dr Maged el Kemary is acquainted with the new educational tracks, the university’s trend in education, scientific research based on innovation, activities and programs of promoting innovation, initiatives and discoveries that serve the community and contribute to its development and future industry to support Singapore’s transformation into a smart country as well as marketing ideas and patents to companies to be transformed into products.
It is worth mentioning that researchers at National University of Singapore have developed Wi-Fi speed to be the fastest in the world and offered downloading a 4 GB video in just 15 seconds.
