The president Prof Dr Maged el Kemary said that all necessary educational resources have been provided for starting the study, particularly in the new faculties, all maintenance work for faculties have been completed as well as central auditoriums building have been established according to international standards to keep pace with the modernization of university facilities.
As well, he points out that the university will organize a reception ceremony for junior students to familiarize with the university life. The ceremony includes several cultural, scientific and religious activities as well as sportive activities.
He adds that study schedules for faculties have been completed to ensure the regularity of educational process since the first day of study.
With regard to the preparations of student housing, el Kemary confirms that all required maintenance work has been completed, including comprehensive maintenance for student housing and its restaurant. All accommodation preparations have been provided, ensuring that all safety and comfort procedures are provided to all students. Admission coordination work in student housing and electronic admission have started for all classes of students and continued until the end of August.
On the other hand, internal coordination for students will be within different faculties according to quality standards and students’ choices within the limits of capacity of each department, which corresponds to labor market requirements.
He also adds that he instructs to adhere to price of university book, taking into account quality standards and providing 5% of books for students who are financially unable.
He also stresses that it is not allowed to print any university book for any curriculum only after being accredited from scientific departments.
He points out that the university has installed surveillance cameras on campus and detection devices as well as there are a group of security women to verify the identity of female students while entering the gates, in addition to the deployment of security men in all places inside the university to improve security performance and provide environment suitable for university student.
Otherwise, he says that students’ services building consists of three floors containing four restaurants, four small shops and two libraries for students’ supplies. It will be opened at the beginning of the next academic year 2018/2019.
