Comprehensive Medical Convoy Starting from the University of Kafrelsheikh for the Villages of the Province


 

 Under the auspices of Prof. Maged Elkemary, President of the University, a comprehensive medical convoy was launched Thursday by all the medical specialties organized by Kafrelsheikh University, from Kafrelsheikh University Hospital to the village of Baloush and the neighboring villages of Baltim in Kafrelsheikh governorate. Free of charge to all patients in various medical specialties, by a group of the best doctors, and the necessary treatment was provided to patients free of charge.

Elkemary said that these convoys aim to reach patients in remote places as a contribution of the university in providing health care to all the people of the province. He added that the university is currently preparing to launch 12 medical convoys in different villages in the governorate to treat cases of hepatitis C, on cases free of charge.

The medical examination was carried out in the specialties of Al-Batinah on 239 liver patients in 187 patients. Surgery on 217 patients - 130 children - ENT on 157 cases - Ophthalmology on 143 cases - Heart and chest on 98 patients - Bone and fractures on 198 patients - Brain and neurological diseases on 107 patients - the skin on 152 cases - women and obstetrics on 87 cases) and the medical examination of hepatitis C virus on 387 cases and the result is 100% negative
