Introduction

department presents academic program that aims at graduating students who are
capable of
1- Fluency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
2- Translating from and to Arabic.
3- English language proficiency which allows them to
speak and be familiar with its intellectual production and technical innovation.
4- Communicating with other cultures from a strong
background of his Arabic culture.
5- Mastery of the English language and the ability to
perceive the overall cultural framework of the English language and the
characteristics of its culture.
6- Careful reading of English and American literature.
The
academic standards that we follow are to graduate students who are able to
understand:
1- Linguistic and grammatical rules of the English
language
2- Common linguistic methods and literary expressions in
the English language
3- Common literary and intellectual currents in English
heritage
4- The most important productions of the famous thinkers
and writers of the English heritage
5- Basic knowledge and concepts in the field of literary
theories
6- The most important linguistic and grammatical rules of
Arabic language

3- Translating texts from and to Arabic.

6- Using references with the second foreign language that
he learned.
