Introduction
The department presents academic programs that
aim to graduating students who are capable of:
1-Understanding
the basic knowledge of sociology
2-Perceiving
the impact of local, regional and global variables on societal change
3-Knowing
the theory of sociology and social research methods
4-Focusing
on the adoption of the social vision of the multiple forms of human interaction
from the smallest to the largest and the dynamics of this social interaction
5-Developing
the critical awareness to the social world and encouraging self-reflection of
the nature of our social knowledge
