Introduction:
The department presents history programs that aim to
prepare graduates who are:
1- Acquiring
mental abilities such as respecting the historical context, as well as being
aware of the historical events.
2- Acquiring mental and intellectual methods in terms of
historical knowledge.
3- Understanding the problems underlying the historical
record itself, and also realizing the different points of view in the
interpretation of the historical material.
4- To be aware of the historical process.
The
academic standards we follow are to graduate students who are capable of:

Understanding the
past of the humanity.

Understanding the
historical events plus a deep awareness of the variation of traditions
nowadays.

Representing the
historical knowledge with appropriate but yet distinct form.
