Faculty of arts
organized a seminar titled "academic consulting" where each of Dr.
Farag Sharshira, professor at faculty of agriculture, and Dr. Mohamed Marei,
vice dean of the faculty of arts for education and students affairs, talked
about academic consulting system for credit hours, the seminar was held at the
faculty's seminars hall on Monday 10th, January 2011.

The seminar was
held under the auspices of prof. dr. /Fawzi Ali Turki president of the
university, and prof. dr. /Adel Abd El-Halim Hider vice president for education
and students' affairs, the public administration of youth welfare held a
religious seminar on Sunday 5/12/2010 titled "Islam and the value of
work" which was held at the hall of discussions, at faculty of arts.
It was lectured
by prof. dr. /Mohamed El-Amrosy the dean of the faculty and El- Sheikh/ Ibrahim
El-Badawy a scientist from El-Azhar, who spoke at the seminar about the value
of work and about the social value that Islam is giving to work, he also
mentioned that nations do not develop without the efforts of its people and the
consideration of time investment; because Islam is a religion of life from which
we withdraw our strength, our religion imposes on us to watch God in our time
and work to do a useful job that that contributes in nation's dignity, we have
examples of prophets of God as got gave each one of them a different work, and
our prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) cautioned the importance of work in
hadith (no one has never eaten a better meal than that which one has earned by
working with one's own hands and the prophet of Allah, David used to eat from
the earnings of his manual labor)

Suhair Lotfy,the president of the Egyptian center for development and drug
