The Faculty of Arts, Kafrelsheikh University, announces the opening of registration for postgraduate studies (Distinguished Academic Diploma) in 9 different programs, starting from September 15 to 28, 2023.
Dr. Walid Al-Beheiri, Dean of the College, explained that these distinguished academic diplomas include the following:
1 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in Arabic Language Sciences and Islamic Studies. Arabic Language
2 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in Translation (English Language) English Language
3 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in English Linguistics for Special Purposes, English Language
4 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in Clinical Psychology Psychology
5 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in Surveying, Modern Maps, Geography and Geographic Information Systems
6 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in Historical Studies, International Relations and History
7 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in Sociology and Human Development
8 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in Specialized and Applied French Language and Literature
9 - Distinguished Academic Diploma in Digital Content Management, Libraries and Information
Al-Behairi stressed that these diplomas have several conditions that the student must meet in order to be able to enroll in them.
Pointing out that the conditions are that the student must have a bachelor’s or bachelor’s degree from an Egyptian university or an equivalent university degree.
Al-Behairi revealed that there are a number of documents required to apply for the distinguished diploma by applicants that must be available before applying, which are as follows:
1- A temporary bachelor’s or bachelor’s degree certificate with the grade required for applicants for enrollment in the Distinguished Academic Diploma.
2- A statement of the student’s grades during the years of study
3- Birth certificate or an official extract thereof.
4- A copy of the identity card “national number”.
5- 6 personal photos, size 4x6 cm.
It is worth noting that the approval and accreditation of these academic diplomas came as a result of the great efforts made by the college administration, represented by Dr. Walid Al-Beheiri, Dean of the College, Dr. Abdul Hamid Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Yasser Abdel Wahab, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research. Dr. Hossam Al-Mesiri, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, and faculty members, and a continuation of the path of great achievements within the College, which was able to achieve leadership and accreditation in a number of its distinguished programs, such as the English Language Program, the Psychology Program, and the Sociology Program, in addition to the presence of 9 Distinctive academic diplomas in various specializations, which confirms the leadership of this college among other universities and serves as a bright spot at Kafr El-Sheikh University and an extension of the development process achieved by the university under the sponsorship and presidency of Dr. Abdel Razek Desouki, President of the University, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Al, Vice President of the University for Educational Affairs. The students, Dr. Ismail Al-Qan, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
It is noteworthy that the College of Arts has achieved many achievements in a short time, especially during the previous three years, as the college witnessed many important openings such as the distinguished educational museum, the educational studio, the development of the college library, the digital student services center and controls, in addition to the activation of the public service center and the unit. Quality assurance, which contributed significantly to achieving accreditation for a number of programs at the college, in addition to the activity of a number of departments in community service, such as the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems, the Department of Archeology, the Department of English Language, and the Department of Psychology and Sociology, as well as the college’s success for the first time in organizing a conference. An international academic, all the media talked about it, in addition to the college’s progress in student activities and adopting innovative and creative people among its students. All of these tangible achievements were concluded a few days ago with the opening of 9 distinguished diplomas in various specializations, making them a new addition to the College of Arts’ record of achievements and a new page of the College’s shining pages.
