Cooperation between the governorate and Kafr El-Sheikh University to develop fish and animal wealth

Through this cooperation, Kafrelsheikh University harnesses all its research capabilities in order to develop and assist the local community to increase production in various forms.

Engineer Saad Al-Husseini, Governor of Kafr El-Sheikh, confirmed that a comprehensive survey will be conducted of all ideas for developing the governorate’s resources in terms of fish and animal wealth, and community outreach will be made with the competent authorities, such as the College of Veterinary Medicine and agricultural and veterinary research institutes, to identify ideas and proposals for developing this important wealth. .

 

This came during the governor’s meeting with the agency concerned with fisheries development, in the presence of Dr. Magdy Selim, the governor’s advisor for fisheries resources, and his assistant agency.

 

Dr. Magdy Selim, the governorate’s advisor for fish and animal wealth, added that Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate is a pioneer in the field of fish farming, and a strategic plan will be developed to improve and raise production to cover the needs of the market and arrange and develop a plan for marine fish farming, especially after the establishment of a special college for fisheries in the north of the governorate, and there will be We specialize in marine fish farming, and the veal project will also be restored to cover the need for red meat and provide it to the consumer at reasonable prices.
