The university president stated that the scholarships offered to students in African countries will be in accordance with the rules and conditions of the Supreme Council of Universities, and will be provided in coordination with the Minister of Higher Education and the cultural attachés of Egyptian embassies in African countries.

 

He added that these grants come in line with the directions of the political leadership regarding the necessity of opening new horizons with Africa, and signing cooperation agreements between the university and African universities to train professors and students in university colleges, and emphasizing the need to pay attention to incoming students, especially from the Nile Basin countries and Africa, in support of consolidating friendship with these countries.

 

The university president explained that the university always seeks to increase the number of scholarships offered annually and to diversify its specializations in all fields for its African students and to provide them with full support.

 

It has previously provided ten scholarships to students from Mauritania.
