Kafrelsheikh University participate in the Forum "Activities of Egyptian Governmental Universities to Confront Climate Changes"

 Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ayman Ashour, and hosted by Suez University, headed by Prof. El-Sayed El-Sharqawy, the university participates in a high-level delegation, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, which includes Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; Prof. Dr. Rushdy El-Adawy Professor of Agricultural Economics and General Coordinator of Student Activities; Prof. Dr. Radi Ali Mohamed, Professor of Animal and Fish Welfare, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries, in the Forum of Egyptian and Governmental Universities Activities to Confront Climate Changes, which was held in Ain Sukhna; During which public universities present their strategies to deal with these changes.

The forum aims to support research and development in applied projects related to the themes of climate change and the development of scientific research in the management of new and renewable energy, energy efficiency and methods of consumption, in addition to integration with various parties to limit climate changes, and enhance Egypt's role in the file of climate changes worldwide.

Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, stresses that the university believes in the importance of dealing seriously with these climatic changes through several themes, including reducing any negative impact of activities within the university on the climate, dealing positively with the effects of climate change, and effectively contributing to improving the environment to face climate changes.

 

Dr. Desouky adds that the university administration seeks to highlight its role in developing technological technologies and promoting innovation in the field of climate change, noting that the university participates in a number of research and products during its distinguished participation in the forum.
