Kafrelsheikh University is among the Top 301-400 Universities Globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings

The President Prof Dr Abedelrazek Desouky announces that the university is among 301-400 universities globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings according to the achievement of the United Nations Goals for Sustainable Development for the year 2021, and the university has also achieved the third place locally.

Kafrelsheikh University surpasses the Egyptian universities in achieving advanced positions globally and locally in each of: the sixth goal, the twelfth goal and the thirteenth goal, as Kafrelsheikh University ranks No 91 globally in achieving the sixth goal, which is clean water and sanitation, ranks No 101-200 globally in achieving the twelfth goal, Responsible Consumption and Production, and ranks No 39th globally in achieving the thirteenth goal, Climate Action.

The President confirms that this ranking is a strong international recognition of the university’s adoption to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the State Plan (2030), as well as the university’s role in community service and the work that the university has achieved with society, which is the main method of significant impact in implementing one of sustainability goals.

 

Dr Desouky mentions that the progress made by the university in the international rankings is the result of the efforts of the university's administration, and he thanks the academic leaders of the university, staff members, the administrative body and employees.
