“Higher Education Times” magazine announces that Kafrelsheikh University has made significant progress in Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings as it ranks 101-200 at the level of global universities and the first place at the level of Egyptian Universities depending on their economic and social effect against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
As well, Prof Dr Maged el Kemary mentions that this ranking is related to British “Times” Ranking 2019 as Kafrelsheikh University ranks No 601-800 in the world and the first place at the level of Egyptian Universities, adding that this ranking is a strong recognition of the development of Kafrelsheikh University in education and scientific research and also contributes significantly to improving the international standing of the University in particular and Egypt in general in the field of higher education.
He added that the ranking depends on applying several standards; the most important are academic reputation, university possibilities for students, the extent of qualifying its graduates to labor market as well as number of researches and International Scientific Publishing Rates.
El Kemary points out that the university pays an attention to develop its outputs through excellence in education and applied scientific research, namely future science such as microelectronics, artificial intelligence and nanotechnology applications in all fields to meet the requirements of the labor market and the rapid scientific and technological development.
