Kafrelsheikh University wins the first level at the level of Egyptian universities, the third place in Arab world after two Saudi universities, namely King Abedulaziz University and Princess Nora University and place No 117 globally in green eco-friendly universities classification. As well, the American University at Cairo has ranked the second place at the level of Egyptian Universities and place No 175 at the level of world universities.

This classification depends on a number of criteria, the most importance ones are criteria of education and scientific research, criteria of green spaces and aesthetic values inside the university and criteria of infrastructure of environment friendly energy sources, streets and sidewalks that meet the requirements of special need persons.

 It is worth mentioning that Kafrelsheikh University adopts its own vision that includes “Egyptian University with international quality standards”.
