As a part of continuous and
further cooperation with international countries , president Prof Dr Maged el
Kemary kafrelsheikh university welcomed today Tuesday 22/5/2017 in
his kind office a team from Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Economy of the
Islamic Republic of Mauritania under the patronage of Mrs Khadija Bint
Boucha, the Secretary-General of the Ministry to look for and find out
different ways of cooperation between KFS university and the
Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime Economy to help in implementing what has
been signed and approved in the cooperation agreement contract between Arab
Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Mauritania in the field of fish &
aquaculture and fish wealth.
Both parties have agreement on
possibilities of providing scholarships for Mauritanian students
to be enrolled in Master and
Doctorate programs , as well the possibility of
training Mauritanian students in KFS in the field of
fisheries.
On her side, Mrs Khadija Bint
Boucha, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Fisheries and Maritime
Economy, mentioned that the annual stock of surface fish reach 1.3 million
tons, pointing out that her country seeks to preserve and sustain its
fisheries.
In addition, she expresses her
admiration with KFS university and her
appreciation of the Faculty of Fisheries , the research labs i.e.
feed fish factory in particular , as well the fish preservation and
manufacturing factory which will be a conducive learning environment
for training the students where they will get a maximum
benefit in the field of
fisheries whether in aquaculture or fish processing.
whereas, Prof el Kemary pointed
out that the university is ready and willing to provide all support for
education, training, researches and consultations.
