The President Prof. Dr. Abedelrazek Desouky announces the appearance of the university in THE Arab World University Rankings 2021.

Kafrelsheikh University ranks No 4 locally out of a total of "35" Egyptian universities, and the "17th" in THE Arab World University Rankings 2021 out of a total of "155" Arab universities, and the university also ranks the first locally and the third in Arab World in research citations.

As well, the President Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Dosouky states that this ranking is a strong international recognition of the university’s development in education and scientific research, noting that international rankings contribute significantly to improving the international reputation of the university in particular and Egypt in general in the field of higher education and scientific research.

The President explains that this ranking is one of the best international rankings and depends on main indicators with a number of detailed sub-criteria, including the fields of: education, “educational environment”, scientific research “volume of published research, income from scientific research and reputation”, citations “research impact” and society, “knowledge transfer and its impact,” and international relations, “staff members, students, and research.”

Dr. Desouky adds that the progress made by the university in the international rankings is the result of the efforts of the university administration, and he thanks the university’s academic leaders, staff members, assistant staff, the administrative staff, employees, and those responsible for the ranking.
