Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Dosouki announces that Kafrelsheikh University appears in the Place No 601-800 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020, which is issued annually.

Dr Dosouki mentions that the university maintained its ranking among the best 800 universities in the world, maintaining the same position globally for the third year in a row according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020 while the university achieves the third place at the level of Egyptian Universities among 21 universities in this ranking.

Otherwise, the president states that the ranking is one of the best global ranking and depend on main indicators that contain a number of detailed sub-criteria, including the educational fields “educational environment”, scientific research “size of published researches, income from scientific research and reputation”, citations “research effect”, international relations “staff members, students and researches”, industry income “transfer knowledge from innovations and patents”.

As well, the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Dosouki emphasizes that this ranking is a strong international recognition of the university’s development in education and scientific research, noting that international classifications contribute greatly to improving the international reputation of the university in particular and Egypt in general in the field of higher education and scientific research.

He pointed out that the progress made by the university in the international rankings is because the university administration is taking many special measures in this regard.
