Today Tuesday 28/4/2020, the monthly university council was held under the authority of the President Prof Dr Abed El-Raziq Dousoki in the presence of Major General Gamal Noor El-Deen, Kafrelsheikh governor, the vices of President, the deans, Secretary-General Mr Mustafa Rizq and the council members.

In the beginning, the President welcomes the mayor, thanking him for presence and participation in the university council and mentions that the university represented in faculties of the medical sector and the university hospitals is ready to implement the initiatives launched by the President Abed El-Fattah El-Sisi to provide a decent life for citizens, pointing to the role of the specialized faculties in spreading awareness, guidance and explaining ways of prevention and how to protect yourself from the Corona virus in line with the directives of President Abed El Fattah Al-Sisi, praising the decisions of the council of ministries and the efforts of the Egyptian state represented in the concerned authorities to implement the directives of the President of the Republic in preventing and controlling the virus, early detection and taking firm measures to limit the spread of the virus and reduce the consequences, indicating the need to continue work, implement the plans and intensify preventive and awareness efforts and continuous coordination with the concerned authorities.

As well, Major-General Jamal Noor El-Deen, Kafrelsheikh governor, said that the university's medical sector has contributed greatly to supporting the general and central governorate hospitals and quarantine in the Baltim Central Hospital and following up on the governorate's citizens coming abroad.

Otherwise,  the President  stated that the capabilities of the university, its scholars, researchers and experiences is in the service of the local community and the people of Kafrelsheikh Governorate as it is the house of expertise supporting development projects in the province by providing scientific and practical solutions and consultations and developing proposals to upgrade, support and develop the governorate, thanking Major General Jamal Nour El-Deen, the governor of Kafrelsheikh for his support to the university.

For his part, the governor expresses his happiness for his presence in the university among scholars and professors, confirming that the university is the house of expertise, science and consultation for the governroate in various fields, pointing to the continuous cooperation between the university and the governorate in order to achieve the implementation of development programs for the people of the governorate.
