In a new message that reflects Kafrelsheikh University’s belief that true investment begins with the human being, Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid, President of the University, inaugurates today, Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the activities of the distinguished training program “Qualification of New Assistant Staff,” coinciding with the celebration of International Youth Day, within the framework of the university’s vision to support its academic youth and build scientific and research cadres capable of leading the path of development and excellence in the coming years.

Prof Yahya Zakaria Eid affirms that the university places its youth at the forefront of its priorities, especially the new teaching assistants, considering them one of the most important sources of the university’s academic and scientific future. He added that Kafrelsheikh University believes that building a strong and distinguished university begins with investing in its members. He explains that continuous training and qualification programs represent a fundamental pillar in preparing academic cadres who possess the tools of the era and are capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the fields of education, scientific research, and technology.

He points out that the university is keen for the new assistant staff to receive the support, guidance, and training that qualify them to perform their academic and research mission efficiently. He affirms that the university does not view them merely as new members of its system, but rather as the leaders of the future and the bearers of the university’s banner in the coming years.

Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid directs a direct message to the new assistant staff, saying: “Today you are taking the first steps on a long path, but it is a path worth every effort we make for it. Do not look at yourselves merely as new teaching assistants; rather, look at yourselves as a project of a university professor, a researcher, a scientist, and a leader. The university is betting on you, and we trust in your abilities, and we strive to provide everything that helps you succeed.”

The President adds: “Learn continuously, research, ask questions, and do not be afraid of experience. Make excellence a habit, serving your students a mission, scientific research a passion, and the university your second home. Always remember that what you offer today will shape part of the future of Kafrelsheikh University tomorrow.”

For his part, Prof. Ismail Ismail Ibrahim, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, affirms that launching the program in conjunction with International Youth Day carries a clear message that the university believes in the capabilities of its youth and seeks to transform their energies and ambitions into real achievements.

He explains that the program aims to equip participants with a set of skills and knowledge that help them start confidently on their academic journey, through familiarization with the latest teaching strategies, communication skills, and dealing with students, in addition to developing research and academic capabilities.

In the same context, Prof. Tarek Attia Abdelrahman, Executive Director of the International Center for Human Resources Management and Continuing Education, explains that the center works to translate the vision of the university leadership in supporting and developing human capital into practical training programs that respond to the real needs of the participants. He notes that the “Qualification of New Assistant Staff” program is carefully designed according to the actual needs of the targeted cadres and in accordance with the latest international standards and practices in training and academic development.

Prof. Tarek Attia Abdelrahman affirms that the goal is not limited to providing theoretical knowledge, but extends to building a complete academic personality that possesses teaching, communication, research, and continuous development skills, qualifying the participants to compete and excel locally and internationally.

The organization of this program confirms Kafrelsheikh University’s orientation toward building an integrated system for qualifying young academic cadres, based on the fact that the quality of university education begins with preparing the faculty member capable of creating an inspiring educational experience, and that investment in youth is a direct investment in the future of the university and the nation.

Kafrelsheikh University continues, through the International Center for Human Resources Management and Continuing Education, to implement qualitative programs aimed at developing the skills and capabilities of university affiliates, thereby enhancing the culture of continuous learning and supporting the university’s orientation toward institutional, academic, and research excellence.
