In the framework of Kafrelsheikh University’s strategy to build a well-rounded university student personality and enhance their role in serving society, the University’s Scouts participate in the activities of the Leadership Preparation Camp in Baltim.
Prof. Yahya Zakaria Eid affirms that the university pays great attention to student activities as one of the main pillars in building the individual. He notes that leadership preparation camps represent an integrated educational and training environment that contributes to discovering young talents, refining their skills, and preparing a generation capable of leadership, innovation, and shouldering responsibility.
The President adds that Kafrelsheikh University’s vision is based on graduating cadres who possess knowledge, skills, and national awareness, alongside the development of a balanced personality capable of positive interaction with various challenges. He confirms that scouting activities are among the most important means of instilling values of discipline, self-reliance, teamwork, and volunteerism — in line with the vision of the Egyptian state and the goals of sustainable development.
He explains that Kafrelsheikh University is keen on presenting a distinguished model in student care through an integrated system of activities that contribute to personality building, strengthening the spirit of belonging and loyalty to the homeland, spreading a culture of community participation, and preparing graduates capable of competing in the local and international labor market.
For his part, Prof. Rushdy Al-Adawy, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and General Coordinator of Student Activities, explains that the participation of the university’s scouts in the Leadership Preparation Camp in Baltim is within the university’s plan aimed at developing students’ leadership and personal skills, enhancing the culture of teamwork and volunteering, and equipping them with practical experiences that qualify them for success in their academic and professional lives.
He adds that the program includes numerous scouting, training, sports, and cultural activities, along with workshops and interactive lectures that contribute to developing leadership skills, decision-making, time management, effective communication, and teamwork. These activities boost students’ self-confidence and qualify them to deal with various situations and challenges.
The camp witnesses distinguished engagement from the scouts’ students, who participate in many training and practical programs and activities. This reflects Kafrelsheikh University’s commitment to developing its students’ skills and preparing them to be ambassadors for the university and conscious youth models capable of leading the future. This is in line with the university’s mission to graduate generations possessing competence, excellence, and creativity who effectively contribute to achieving the goals of the New Republic and sustainable development.
