Today, Monday, 22/4/2024, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, witnesses the launch of the activities of the third student forum entitled “The Role of Nursing Students in Innovation and Creativity to Develop Health Care within the New Republic,” which is organized by the Faculty of Nursing, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs; Dr. Ismail Al-Qon, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Dr. Amany Shaker, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Ali Abu Shusha, former Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Dr. Taha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Sabah Abu Al-Futouh, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, the vices of dean, and a distinguished elite of staff members in the Faculties of Nursing from various Egyptian universities.
During his speech, Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouki, President of the University, praises the forum in terms of its role in creating distinguished student work based on awareness and culture among the university’s youth, which is the source of creativity, welcoming the attendees from various Faculties of Nursing at the level of Egyptian universities to participate in the forum’s activities. His Excellency expresses his gratitude for the effectiveness of the nursing role within society, as the societal view towards nursing holds full appreciation and respect for the effort made in serving the health sector.
In a related context, Dr. Mohammed Abd El-Aal, Vice President of the University for Education and Students’ Affairs, praises the distinguished role played by the university, represented by the Faculty of Nursing, to serve students and promote the health sector, as the effective role played by the nursing team is no less important than the role of the doctor in society, and that the conference aims to raise health awareness via the students, within the framework of its societal role towards society, as the faculty provides graduates trained at the highest level to provide distinguished service in the medical sector.
Dr. Sabah Abu Al-Futouh, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, says that the aim of the conference is to exchange experiences in the field of nursing with Egyptian universities, build strategies to develop the efficiency of education of the nursing profession, enhance the research and creative values of students, develop their culture of scientific research, creativity and innovation, and enrich the student academic arena via presenting and disseminating the scientific and creative production of students, developing leadership and dialogue skills among male and female students.
Prof. Dr. Abdelrazek Desouky, President of the University, also inaugurates an art exhibition for students of the Faculty of Nursing before holding the conference, and praises the artworks displayed.
